Zooming Deep Into the Heart Of A Fractal
Mandelbrot Fractal Set Trip To e214 HD from teamfresh on Vimeo.
"After a trip of 10 minutes inside this Mandelbrot fractal, the original image you saw would be "billions and billions" of times larger than the whole Universe.
The final magnification is e.214. Want some perspective? a magnification of e.12 would increase the size of a particle to the same as the earths orbit! e.21 would make a particle look the same size as the milky way and e.42 would be equal to the universe. This zoom smashes all of them all away. If you were "actually" traveling into the fractal your speed would be faster than the speed of light."

Exploring The Sun With Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO)
The SDO mission is slated to launch on February 9, 2010.
Space weather can pose a threat to astronauts as well as to aircraft crews flying over Earths northern and southern polar regions—and thats just the tip of the iceberg. Satellite communications, navigation systems, and electrical power to our homes can all be disrupted by magnetic storms triggered by solar activity.
The Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) is the first mission to be launched for NASAs Living With a Star (LWS) program. The goal of the LWS program is to develop the scientific understanding necessary to effectively address those aspects of the sun and solar system that directly affect life and society.

The Fuzztones - "Action Speaks Louder Than Words" (1989)
The Fuzztones are a garage rock revival band formed in the 1981. Founded by singer-guitarist Rudi Protrudi, the band was dismissed by some critics and listeners as a "bar band" or unoriginal - and even plagiaristic. They maintain a strong fan base in New York, Los Angeles and in Europe, where their music even played on Hungarian State Radio.
